We Got First Approval!

Galations 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL; against such things there is no law.

The more in tune we are to the Fruits of the Spirit,

• the quicker our sin will be convicted,
• these characteristics will become more and more natural to us
• and we will look vastly different from the ways of the world.

These past few weeks, I have had every emotion stir up in me that goes no where good unless I turn it over to the Lord. Emotions are like the wind. They are swayed so quickly by our circumstances or what we feel that moment or what we see on social media. Last night, I had a feeling of being overwhelmed and it can be a heavy weight when that consumes you. So this is for me today….choose those ‘fruits’ and nothing in the world can bring you down.

And God knows when the weight is heavy, and we simply need the reminder to be joyful or faithful or any of these - and He brings the right encouragement at the right time.

Yesterday, we learned that Thailand APPROVED our MATCH!!!!

Thank you to ALL who have been praying with us. We were approved on May 21st.

Although we have the next leg of paperwork to complete on our end, this was the last major hurdle (typically) before travel! Our agency is HOPEFUL we will still be able to travel in 3-5 months to bring our girl home - so COVID restrictions and uncertainty everywhere, we will CHOOSE HOPE as well!
